And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!
At the same time spoke the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth off from your loins, and put off your shoe from your foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
But all who heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this the one who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here for that purpose, that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?
And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD was sorry that he had made Saul king over Israel.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.
