Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

But they like other men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

For whoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is from God, or whether I speak from myself.

And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.

Likewise consider yourselves also to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God forbid. How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that you should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit for God.

And that he died for all, so that those who live should not henceforth live for themselves, but for him who died for them, and rose again.

Among whom also we all had our conduct in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth do not walk as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Not with eye service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Of his own will he gave us birth with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Therefore laying aside all malice, and all deceit, and hypocrisy, and envy, and all evil speaking,

And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God remains for ever.
