Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.

For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God does not give the Spirit by measure to him.

Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus; whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

And killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.

Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe in him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

And what harmony does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion has he that believes with an infidel?

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love for all the saints,

To whom God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, who is our hope;

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every person.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Therefore he is able also to save to the greatest extent those who come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that would follow.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has given us a new birth to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.
