And he said to him, Why do you, being the king’s son, look so thin from day to day? will you not tell me? And Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.
And he said to her, Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite, and said to him, Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give you my vineyard.
So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of those that were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.
