And of Jezebel also spoke the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
And it came to pass in the mean time, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.
But there was none like unto Ahab, who did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the allotment of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.
And I will appoint over them four things, says the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the birds of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, dragged and thrown out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
