And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD to Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so severe, that there was no breath left in him.

And he said to her, Give me your son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he stayed, and laid him upon his own bed.

And he said, What have I sinned, that you would deliver your servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?

And there came a man of God, and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, Thus says the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, You man of God, the king has said, Come down.

And Elisha said to the king of Israel, What have I to do with you? go to the prophets of your father, and to the prophets of your mother. And the king of Israel said to him, Nay: for the LORD has called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with you, you king of Judah? I do not come against you this day, but against the house with which I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: keep from meddling with God, who is with me, so that he does not destroy you.

How many are my iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.

For you write bitter things against me, and make me guilty of the iniquities of my youth.

Then shall the man bring his wife to the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus, thou Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?

And cried out with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I appeal to you by God, that you do not torment me.

But when Herod heard of it, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth? Are you come to destroy us? I know you who you are; the Holy One of God.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I plead with you, do not torment me.

Jesus said to her, Woman, what have I to do with you? My hour has not yet come.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, greatly to be feared: but I asked him not where he was from, neither did he tell me his name:

And Samuel did that which the LORD spoke, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Do you come peaceably?
