Behold, I have done according to your words: lo, I have given you a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like you before you, neither after you shall any arise like unto you.

So that they cause the cry of the poor to come to him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.

He will fulfil the desire of those who fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried out unto you.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.

Until now you have asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Now we know that God does not hear sinners: but if any man is a worshiper of God, and does his will, him he hears.

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Do not cast away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast until the end;

But Christ was faithful as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

You ask, and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, that you may consume it upon your lusts.

Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
