As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated for the gospel of God,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

For I speak to you Gentiles, considering that as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry:

Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

Conscience, I say, not your own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience?

For if I by grace am a partaker, why am I spoken evil of for that for which I give thanks?

But if anyone seems inclined to dispute, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

For though I am free from all men, yet have I made myself servant to all, that I might gain the more.

Do you look on things according to the outward appearance? If anyone trusts to himself that he is Christ’s, let him think this again to himself, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.

For I suppose I was not at all behind the very chief apostles.

We, then, as workers together with him, plead with you also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.

Paul, an apostle, (not from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Stand firm therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Nor from men did we seek glory, neither from you, nor yet from others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

Because of which I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and do not lie;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

For which I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
