Let the husband show his wife due attention: and likewise also the wife her husband.
If he takes another wife for himself; her food, her clothing, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
The wife does not have power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband does not have power over his own body, but the wife.
Likewise, you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; so that your prayers are not hindered.
