Do you see a man wise in his own sight? there is more hope for a fool than for him.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and do not rely on your own understanding.

Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Hear me now therefore, O you children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Whoever therefore shall humble himself like this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall by no means enter therein.

And he said, Be careful that you are not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: therefore do not go after them.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion; that blindness in part has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be concerned with high things, but associate with men of humble circumstances. Do not be wise in your own conceits.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

If anyone defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised.

Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

For if a person thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Do not be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

Let no one deceive you with empty words: for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the children of disobedience.

But evil men and seducers shall become worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

For we ourselves also were at one time foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

If anyone among you seems to be religious, and does not control his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is without benefit.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
