For what man knows the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God.

Have you heard the secret of God? and do you limit wisdom to yourself?

The heart knows its own bitterness; and a stranger does not partake of its joy.

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the heart.

The thoughts in the heart of man are like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
