Behold, I know your thoughts, and the plans which you wrongfully imagine against me.

He that is soon angry deals foolishly: and a man of wicked purposes is hated.

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable.

But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I did not know that they had devised plans against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

And Moses was very angry, and said unto the LORD, Do not respect their offering: I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall you sit here?

But I say to you, That whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, Good for nothing, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

And when he had looked all around at them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole like the other.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that touches him: for she is a sinner.

Let no one seek his own, but everyone another’s good.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

That there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care for one another.

But if any man thinks that he is not behaving himself properly towards his virgin, if she is past the flower of her age, and need so requires, let him do what he desires, he does not sin: let them marry.

That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

For, brethren, you have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us: for we did not behave ourselves disorderly among you;

Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be held against them.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger:
