I speak as to wise men; judge what I say.
Therefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
Judge for yourselves: is it suitable that a woman prays to God uncovered?
Brethren, do not be children in understanding: however in malice you should be children, but in understanding you should be men.
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised.
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
Now concerning things offered to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
