And I myself also am persuaded about you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to instruct one another.
For whatever things were written in former times were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
Love never fails: but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if there are tongues, they shall cease; if there is knowledge, it shall vanish away.
How is it then, brethren? When you come together, every one of you has a hymn, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for edifying.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as you abound in everything, in faith, and speech, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that you abound in this grace also.
