He shall build a house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
And he said, You know that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign: however the kingdom is turned around, and has become my brother’s: for it was his from the LORD.

And, behold, I have decided to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set upon your throne in your place, he shall build a house unto my name.

You who have kept with your servant David my father that which you have promised him; and spoken with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from this time forwards even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
