And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to call to remembrance, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink sweet drinks, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Sustain me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick from love.

Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall you mourn; surely they are stricken.

And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and food offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemn feasts of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the food offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

Then said the LORD to me, Keep on going, love a woman beloved by her friend, though an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.
