¶How numerous are Your works, O Yahweh! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

The wicked fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They act corruptly, they commit abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.

Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose harness are bit and bridle to control them, Otherwise they will not come near you.

¶For he sees that even wise men die; The fool and the senseless alike perish And leave their wealth to others.

Then I was senseless and ignorant; I was like an animal before You.

“I said to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ And to the wicked, ‘Do not raise up the horn;

¶Discern, you senseless among the people; And when will you have insight, you fools?

“How long, O simple ones, will you love simplicity? And scoffers delight in scoffing And fools hate knowledge?

¶Wisdom is too exalted for an ignorant fool, He does not open his mouth in the gate.

Surely I am more senseless than any man, And I do not have the understanding of mankind.

“An ox knows its owner, And a donkey its master’s manger, But Israel does not know; My people do not perceive.”

This also comes from Yahweh of hosts, Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Every man is senseless, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his graven images; For his molten images are a lie, And there is no breath in them.

great in counsel and abundant in deeds, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds,

But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you prepared?’

But a natural man does not accept the depths of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually examined.
