Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh; For He is coming to judge the earth.

Oh give us help against the adversary, For salvation by man is worthless.

Look to the right and see; That there is no one who regards me; A way of escape has been destroyed from me; No one cares for my soul.

Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

May Yahweh answer you in the day of distress! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high!

You are my hiding place; You guard me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh; He is their strength in time of distress.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.

God, in her palaces, Has made Himself known as a stronghold.

Call upon Me in the day of distress; I shall rescue you, and you will glorify Me.”

Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.

O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.

Say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns; Indeed, the world is established, it will not be shaken; He will render justice to the peoples with equity.”

Before Yahweh, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity.

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is set securely on high.

Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a weary land.

“Then He shall become a sanctuary; But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Yahweh is good, A strong defense in the day of distress, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you did not want it!

“The eternal God is a dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms; And He drove out the enemy from before you, And said, ‘Destroy!’

so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.
