They are not in trouble as other men, And they are not stricken along with the rest of mankind.

“That the wicked is reserved for the day of disaster; They will be led forth at the day of fury.

“Even when I remember, I am dismayed, And horror seizes my flesh.

Their houses are safe from dread, And the rod of God is not on them.

Behold, these are the wicked; And always at ease, they have increased in wealth.

But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent.
