The wicked fool says in his heart, “There is no God,” They act corruptly, and commit abominable injustice; There is no one who does good.

The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him. All his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

He says in his heart, “I will not be shaken; From generation to generation I will not be in adversity.”

O Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried out by day and throughout the night before You.

A senseless man does not know, And a fool does not understand this:

Yet you have not merely walked in their ways or done according to their abominations; but, as if that were too little, you acted more corruptly in all your ways than they.

Furthermore, Samaria did not commit half of your sins, for you have multiplied your abominations more than they. Thus you have made your sisters appear righteous by all your abominations which you have done.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be guilty before the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you prepared?’

For even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do those things which are not proper,

For it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

You shall not do thus toward Yahweh your God, for every abominable act which Yahweh hates they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

For the time already past is sufficient for you to have worked out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
