“All the men who have a covenant with you Will send you forth to the border, And the men at peace with you Will deceive you and overpower you. They who eat your bread Will set an ambush for you. (There is no discernment in him.)

Do not believe in a neighbor; Do not have confidence in a close companion. From her who lies in your bosom Guard the openings of your mouth.

And He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl is the one who will betray Me.

I do not speak about all of you. I know the ones I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’

¶“But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked— You grew fat, thick, and sleek— Then he abandoned God who made him, And treated the Rock of his salvation with wicked foolishness.
