Then I beat them fine as the dust before the wind; I emptied them out as the mire of the streets.

Though they intended evil against You And devised a scheme, They will not succeed.

The nations roar, the kingdoms shake; He gives His voice, the earth melts.

Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.

I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.

Do not forget the voice of Your adversaries, The rumbling of those who rise against You which ascends continually.

They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones.

¶“Be broken, O peoples, and be shattered; And give ear, all remote places of the earth. Gird yourselves, yet be shattered; Gird yourselves, yet be shattered.

But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’

For He will be delivered over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon,

And they were glad and agreed to give him money.

And the crowd joined together to attack them, and the chief magistrates, tearing their garments off of them, proceeded to order them to be beaten with rods.

But when they heard this, they became furious and intended to kill them.

These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and elect and faithful.”
