because Abraham listened to My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

And the statutes and the judgments and the law and the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall be careful to do forever; and you shall not fear other gods.

Then all the people went away to eat, to drink, to send portions, and to celebrate with great gladness, because they understood the words which had been made known to them.

“Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them upright judgments and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.

So that they might keep His statutes And observe His laws, Praise Yah!

¶The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are faithful.

¶Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Blessed are You, O Yahweh; Teach me Your statutes.

¶I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors.

Therefore I deem all Your precepts concerning everything to be right, I hate every false way.

The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.

Trouble and anguish have found me, Yet Your commandments are my delight.

I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your word.

Let my lips pour forth praise, For You teach me Your statutes.

Your testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.

Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.

Your statutes have become my songs In the house of my sojourning.

May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not be ashamed.

If Your law had not been my delight, Then I would have perished in my affliction.

¶The words of Yahweh are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the ground, refined seven times.

¶Look and answer me, O Yahweh my God; Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,

“I desire to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my inner being.”

Your testimonies are very faithful; Holiness befits Your house, O Yahweh, forevermore.

When they have a matter, it comes to me, and I judge between a man and his neighbor and make known the statutes of God and His laws.”

For Yahweh gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and discernment.

¶Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

For the commandment is a lamp and the law is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life

You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry; indeed we have sinned— We continued in them a long time— And shall we be saved?

Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your words became for me joy and gladness in my heart, For I have been called by Your name, O Yahweh God of hosts.

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to do My judgments.

because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,

What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! Rather, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law. For I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God.

Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed be by law.

and you shall be glad before Yahweh your God, you and your son and your daughter and your male and female slaves and the Levite who is within your gates and the sojourner and the orphan and the widow who are in your midst, in the place where Yahweh your God chooses for His name to dwell.

and you shall be glad in your feast, you and your son and your daughter and your male and female slaves and the Levite and the sojourner and the orphan and the widow who are within your gates.
