Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

I love Yahweh, because He hears My voice and my supplications.

“There I will cause the horn of David to spring up; I have prepared a lamp for Mine anointed.

My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Yahweh, my rock and my Redeemer.

To You, O Yahweh, I call; My rock, do not be silent to me, Lest if You are hesitant toward me, I will become like those who go down to the pit.

Do not slay them, or my people will forget; Make them wander about by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.

Surely He is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.

On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

And all the horns of the wicked I will cut off, But the horns of the righteous will be raised up.

I will say to Yahweh, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”

He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you will take refuge; His truth is a large shield and bulwark.

“Yah is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him.

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is set securely on high.

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright, A shield to those who walk in integrity,

Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a weary land.

¶O Yahweh, my strength and my strong defense, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, Futility and things of no profit.”

And again, “I will put My trust in Him.” And again, “Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.”
