Keep me, O God, for I take refuge in You.

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

They are satisfied from the richness of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.

Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge Until destruction passes by.

I will call to God Most High, To God who accomplishes all things for me.

Let me sojourn in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.

¶For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name.

For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.

He who abides in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you will take refuge; His truth is a large shield and bulwark.

Keep my commandments and live, And my law as the apple of your eye.

For thus says Yahweh of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which have taken you as spoil, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you did not want it.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you did not want it!

“He found him in a desert land, And in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him; He cared for him; He guarded him as the pupil of His eye.

May Yahweh fully repay your work, and may your wages be full from Yahweh, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.”
