If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

“Naked is Sheol before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.

Sheol and Abaddon lie open before Yahweh, How much more the hearts of the sons of men!

“Can a man hide himself in hiding places So I do not see him?” declares Yahweh. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares Yahweh.

“Though you build loftily like the eagle, Though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down,” declares Yahweh.

and he said, “I called out of my distress to Yahweh, And He answered me. I cried for help from the belly of Sheol; You heard my voice.
