¶Better is the little of the righteous Than the abundance of many wicked.
“As a partridge that hatches eggs which it has not laid, So is he who makes a fortune, but unjustly; In the midst of his days it will forsake him, And in the end he will be a wicked fool.”

When a man’s ways are pleasing to Yahweh, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
The heart of man plans his way, But Yahweh directs his steps.
One hand full of rest is better than two fists full of labor and striving after wind.
Better is a dish of vegetables where there is love Than a fattened ox and hatred in it.
Better is a dry morsel and tranquility with it Than a house full of feasting with strife.
Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is crooked—double dealing—though he be rich.
