So now, behold, I am going to my people; come, and I will advise you what this people will do to your people in the last days.”

Then Jacob summoned his sons and said, “Gather together that I may tell you what will befall you in the last days.

They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the pit, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.

“Yet I will return the fortunes of Moab In the last days,” declares Yahweh. Thus far the judgment on Moab.

‘But it will be in the last days That I will return the fortunes of Elam,’ ” Declares Yahweh.

Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the last days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.”

However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the last days. This was your dream and the visions of your head while on your bed.

Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek Yahweh their God and David their king; and they will come in dread to Yahweh and to His goodness in the last days.

“My people, remember now What Balak king of Moab counseled And what Balaam son of Beor answered him, And from Shittim to Gilgal, So that you might know the righteous acts of Yahweh.”

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; A star shall come forth from Jacob, A scepter shall rise from Israel, And shall crush through the forehead of Moab, And tear down all the sons of Sheth.

Then Balaam arose and went and returned to his place, and Balak also went his way.

‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams;

But know this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, with the sword among the rest of their slain.

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

But I have a few things against you, that you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
