They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they come into the tent of meeting or when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur guilt and die. It shall be a perpetual statute to him and to his seed after him.

And everyone who eats it will bear his iniquity, for he has profaned the holy thing of Yahweh; and that person shall be cut off from his people.

“Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they set apart to Me as holy, so as not to profane My holy name; I am Yahweh.

You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, ‘How have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The table of Yahweh is to be despised.’

And the sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die.

And you may eat it anywhere, you and your households, for it is your compensation in return for your service in the tent of meeting.

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.
