Now it happened that when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and very vexed and mocked the Jews.

And even one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was a son-in-law of Sanballat the Horonite, so I made him flee away from me.

But the high priest rose up and those with him (that is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy.
