From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.

and will deliver Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised up.”

For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and when He has been killed, He will rise again three days later.”

But when He took the twelve aside, He said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be completed.

and after they have flogged Him, they will kill Him, and the third day He will rise again.”

And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day.”

Jesus answered them, “Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.”

And there was much grumbling among the crowds concerning Him; some were saying, “He is a good man”; others were saying, “No, on the contrary, He leads the crowd astray.”

The Pharisees then answered them, “Have you also been led astray?

by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true;
