Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”

Then when the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium, they gathered the whole Roman cohort around Him.

And Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire.

And as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest *came,

So the soldiers took Him away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium), and they *called together the whole Roman cohort.

And after they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.

during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zechariah, in the wilderness.

Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he was to report it, so that they might seize Him.

So Annas sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Then they *led Jesus from Caiaphas into the Praetorium, and it was early; and they themselves did not enter into the Praetorium so that they would not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
