And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And as Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew, sitting in the tax office; and He *said to him, “Follow Me!” And he stood up and followed Him.

Peter began to say to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You.”

And as He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He *said to him, “Follow Me!” And he stood up and followed Him.

So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

But he answered and said to his father, ‘Look! For so many years I have been serving you and never have I neglected a command of yours. And yet never have you given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends.

And Peter said, “Behold, we have left all that is our own and followed You.”

And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

so that no flesh may boast before God.

For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Who said of his father and his mother, ‘I did not consider them’; And he did not recognize his brothers, Nor did he know his own sons, For they kept Your word, And they observed Your covenant.

More than that, I count all things to be loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ
