“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Now Absalom lived two full years in Jerusalem, and did not see the king’s face.

Then Micaiah said, “Therefore, hear the word of Yahweh. I saw Yahweh sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His left.

and were close to him: Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media who had access to the king’s presence and sat in the first place in the kingdom—

In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honors those who fear Yahweh; He swears to his own hurt and does not change;

As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; I will be satisfied with Your likeness when I awake.

The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

¶For He will command His angels concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.

¶“Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd And against the man, My Associate,” Declares Yahweh of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the eyes of Yahweh which roam to and fro throughout the earth.”

But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the One who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

“A battered reed He will not break off, And a smoldering wick He will not put out, Until He leads justice to victory.

In this way, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord *appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”

But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord *appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,

And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands before God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

“The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me. And he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried.

About the ninth hour of the day he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God who had come in and said to him, “Cornelius!”

And they said to her, “You are out of your mind!” But she kept insisting that it was so. They kept saying, “It is his angel.”

And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.

For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me,

But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, and taking them out, he said,

But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you view your brother with contempt? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves.

For do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I will not praise you.

So let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brothers.

To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.

Now I, Paul, myself plead with you by the gentleness and forbearance of Christ—I who am humble when face-to-face with you, but courageous toward you when absent!

For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is weak and his words contemptible.”

Brothers, even if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, each of you looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

Consequently, he who sets this aside is not setting aside man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but show yourself as a model to those who believe in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

For Christ did not enter holy places made with hands, mere copies of the true ones, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
