And He commanded them all to sit down by groups on the green grass.

And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food and broke the loaves. And He kept giving them to the disciples to set before them, and He divided up the two fish among them all.

and looking up to heaven with a sigh, He *said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”

And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves.

And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”

And it happened that when He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and after breaking it, He was giving it to them.

(For there were about five thousand men.) And He said to His disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them. And He broke them and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the crowd.

So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

Other small boats came from Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

And having said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of all. And he broke it and began to eat.

He who regards the day, regards it for the Lord, and he who eats, eats for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who does not eat, for the Lord he does not eat and gives thanks to God.

Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?

Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

As soon as you enter the city you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat, for the people will not eat until he comes because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. So now, go up for you will find him at once.”
