“They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will guide them And will lead them to springs of water.

yet he has no root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away.

And others fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.

And others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out.

And after the sun rose, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy, and these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being firmly rooted and grounded in love,

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

having been firmly rooted and being built up in Him, and having been established in your faith—just as you were instructed—and abounding with thanksgiving.

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat;
