The one who guards his mouth keeps his soul; The one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”
