So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a young boy and he was clean.

Now it happened that when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to put to death and to make alive, that this man is sending word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? But know now, and see how he is seeking a quarrel against me.”

¶Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind; Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down; Yahweh loves the righteous;

The afflicted will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise Yahweh. May your heart live forever!

And Yahweh said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?

On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, And out of darkness and thick darkness the eyes of the blind will see.

The afflicted also will increase their gladness in Yahweh, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

¶Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And the deaf, even though they have ears.

“For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being,” declares Yahweh. “But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

So I shepherded the flock doomed to slaughter—hence the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; so I shepherded the flock.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see:

Then He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other.

And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

¶“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows about this!”

And they were utterly astonished, saying, “He has done all things well; He makes even the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again.”

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me.

but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and continue knowing that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, when they saw His signs which He was doing.

this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

But the witness I have is greater than the witness of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.

“Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

Listen, my beloved brothers: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
