So I gave my face to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

And He *said to them, “Because of your little faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

[But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”]

And when He came into the house, His disciples began questioning Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

From there they went out and were going through Galilee, and He was not wanting anyone to know about it.

Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there, and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”

And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

I have been in labor and hardship, in many sleepless nights, in starvation and thirst, often hungry, in cold and without enough clothing.

Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me.

in beatings, in imprisonments, in disturbances, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger,

praying at all times with all prayer and petition in the Spirit, and to this end, being on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

And the prayer offered in faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
