and He instructed them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only—no bread, no bag, no money in their belt—

but to wear sandals; and He added, “Do not put on two tunics.”

Carry no money belt, no bag, no sandals, and greet no one on the way.

And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Not a thing.”

And He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, neither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money; nor have two tunics apiece.
