And when Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.

who will go out and come in before them, and who will lead them out and bring them in, so that the congregation of Yahweh will not be like sheep which have no shepherd.”

And when He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick.

And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I feel compassion for the crowd, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”

And seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd.

And the people saw them going, and many recognized them and ran there together on foot from all the cities, and got there ahead of them.

And when it was already quite late, His disciples came to Him and began saying, “This place is desolate and it is already quite late;

In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and *said to them,

“I feel compassion for the crowd because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat.

But when the crowds became aware of this, they followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.

Therefore, He had to be made like His brothers in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things like we are, yet without sin.
