And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.
“If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was giving ear to my voice.
So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of their weakness of spirit and hard slavery.
And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
And He *answered them and *said, “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me!”
But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they were not believing them.
And while they still were not believing because of their joy and were still marveling, He said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?”
So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
