Then Pilate was questioning Him again, saying, “You answer nothing? See how many accusations they bring against You!”

And the high priest stood up and said to Him, “Do You not answer? What are these men testifying against You?”

Then Pilate *said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?”

And the chief priests began to accuse Him of many things.

But Jesus made no further answer; so Pilate marveled.

So Pilate *said to Him, “You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?”
