and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.

And if anyone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your garment also.

But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant;

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

And sitting down, He called the twelve and *said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men.
