And it happened that while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming.
¶Your eyes will behold the King in His beauty; They will see a far-distant land.
For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should desire Him.
And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.
After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the countryside.
Now it happened that when all the people were being baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,
But He Himself would often slip away to the desolate regions and pray.
Now it happened that at this time He went off to the mountain to pray, and He was spending the whole night in prayer to God.
And it happened that while He was praying alone, the disciples were with Him, and He questioned them, saying, “Who do the crowds say that I am?”
And behold, two men were talking with Him, and they were Moses and Elijah,

And fixing their gaze on him, all who were sitting in the Sanhedrin saw his face like the face of an angel.
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sits upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.
