So she said to Elijah, “What do I have to do with you, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my iniquity to remembrance and to put my son to death!”

And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they pleaded with Him to leave their region.

And they began to plead with Him to leave their region.

“The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me. And he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!”

for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”] And they went on to another village.

and they came and appealed to them, and when they had brought them out, they kept requesting them to leave the city.

So now then why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of Yahweh our God any longer, then we will die.

And the men of Beth-shemesh said, “Who is able to stand before Yahweh, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us?”
