Which of the two did the will of his father?” They *said, “The first.” Jesus *said to them, “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.

Now one of the Pharisees was asking Him to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table.

And it was the Mary who anointed the Lord with perfume, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

Therefore, a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, “Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner.”

We know that God does not listen to sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

It is a trustworthy saying and deserving full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.

knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and godless, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,

And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?
