So he consented, and began seeking a good opportunity to betray Him to them apart from the crowd.

But they were saying, “Not during the festival, lest a riot occur among the people.”

for they were saying, “Not during the festival, lest there be a riot of the people.”

And they were glad and agreed to give him money.
