then he took Him into his arms and blessed God, and said,
Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.
And taking a child, He set him before them. And taking him in His arms, He said to them,
And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,
And at once his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he began to speak, blessing God.
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He visited and accomplished redemption for His people,
And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as was told them.
And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to carry out for Him the custom of the Law,
“Now Master, You are releasing Your slave in peace, According to Your word.
And the word was good in the sight of the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel blessed God; and they did not speak of going up against them in war to destroy the land in which the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad were living.
