and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man’s table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores.
But she said, “Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
But she answered and *said to Him, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”
But a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores,

I have been in labor and hardship, in many sleepless nights, in starvation and thirst, often hungry, in cold and without enough clothing.
